Also this year, the Retro Classics 2014 took place at the exhibition grounds in Stuttgart from 13 to 16 March. In the meantime it is the 14th meeting and if one compares the number of visitors with the last year, it must be said that the perceived onslaught was much more enormous. Many well-known exhibitors from the last years were present again, such as the company Mirbach from beautiful Bavaria or "The Gallery" from the Netherlands and of course Döni Classic Cars from Switzerland.
I was surprised by the growing number of exhibitors and suppliers from Eastern European countries. I think we will have to expect even more from these parts of Europe in the future. But now I don't want to let you wait any longer, here some impressions ...

Retro Classics Stuttgart

This year again starts with all sorts of interesting events around our favorite hobby. In Stuttgart on the Fildern, the Retro Classics will take place for the 14th time from 13 to 16 March, a must for all friends of the classic car scene in southern Germany. Everything is offered here, not only for the "cat friend". Interestingly, it continues the following weekend from 26th to 30th March, here you even have to decide where to go. Two major events open their doors, on the one hand at the Hockenheimring the Veterama on the other hand in Essen, in the heart of the industrial heart of Germany, the Techno Classica. On 120 000m2, in the 20 halls and 4 outdoor areas, you will find everything the classic car heart desires. From the rare flasher to the complete vehicle, everything is available at both events, so that you should now save a lot more so that it is enough for big shopping.
Who these events in March to "continental" are helped, because what should not be missing this year is the British Cars & Lifestyle, this year already from 8 th to 9 March in Rosmalen/Netherlands. In addition to the pride of the British car industry, this event scores with everything that makes life on Albion worth living.

Jaguar at the Kitzbühel Alpine Rallye 2011

If you already have your sweetheart in the garage, don't need the hustle and bustle of the automobile fairs and want to test your new modifications and improvements in alpine surroundings after the winter break, you should register quickly at the 27th Kitzbühler Alpine Rallye or Bergfrühling Classic, which will take place from 28 to 31 May. If you prefer to sniff gasoline from the public gallery, you can't miss the German version of the Goodwood Revival - the Hockenheim Historic. this year in memory of the legendary Jim Clark, who died here 45 years ago. So far from me for this time, see you soon.

Although the 1000 miles from Brescia to Rome and back for 30 years was dominated by Alfa Romeo and Ferrari, this legendary long-distance road race has also been a battleground for the Jaguar since 1950.
Since then, the famous cat has been an integral part of the events surrounding adventure, adrenaline, fascination and class, but also anger, despair and suffering. Due to the numerous fatal accidents, the race in this form was soon banned. Twenty years later, in 1977, the Mille Miglia was resurrected as a historic car race, the "Mille Miglia Storica". The Jaguar's historic presence during the Mille Miglia prompted Jaguar Cars Limited to re-enact the old magic of the time for the second time through its Heritage Racing Team, which was founded in 2012. In 2013, Jaguar brings events to a visual denominator in a beautiful short film. Take your time and just look at it, it's worth it ...
